Swipe is an award-winning animated short film by Puffball Studios about a boy obsessed with a fictional app, iFatwa, which crowdsources religious death sentences. As part of the animation team, I worked as a Junior Artist, contributing to cleanup, flats, shadows, and lighting. This was my first project with Puffball, where I gained hands-on experience in a professional pipeline on a socially impactful film.

Project Title: Rest in Paper – Animated Short

Rest in Paper is a Puffball Studios animated short featured in the “Lost Migrations” anthology, exploring identity, partition, and bureaucratic absurdities supported by Project Dastaan. As part of the production team, I animated scenes, refined line work during cleanup, and crafted the final color styling—contributing to its cohesive, emotive aesthetic.

Hide is an upcoming animated short by Puffball Studios. I’m working as an animator and also leading a team of junior artists responsible for cleanups, color, and lighting. My responsibilities include assigning tasks, supervising the visual consistency of scenes, and directly overseeing the light and shadow direction—especially for the film’s stylized black-and-white sequences. The project explores emotionally rich themes with a strong visual narrative.
SHEHRI PAKISTAN

Project Title: Election Awareness Video – Shehri Pakistan

This animated video was created for Shehri Pakistan to raise awareness about responsible voting ahead of the 2024 general elections. I contributed to animating scenes, including character movements and mechanical animation, and handled compositing . The goal was to deliver a clear, engaging message in a short, shareable format while combining social impact with creative storytelling.

Project Title: Cultural Heritage Animated Series - (Gilgit Baltistan)

This animated series was created to celebrate and preserve Pakistan’s ancient and diverse cultural heritage, highlighting the communities that sustain it. I contributed as a background artist, designing culturally inspired environments, and conducted visual research to ensure accuracy and authenticity. The project aimed to raise awareness of Pakistan’s living heritage through engaging, educational storytelling.

This animated video explores the cultural richness and responsible tourism practices in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. I created detailed background artwork inspired by the region’s natural landscapes, architecture, and local life. I also contributed to visual research to ensure accuracy and cultural sensitivity throughout the film.

I designed the UI/UX for Bjanzki, a hand jewelry shopping app created as part of a university project and freelance collaboration. The design focused on delivering a smooth, elegant user experience tailored for high-end consumers. Drawing inspiration from modern fashion and minimal aesthetics, I crafted clean layouts, intuitive navigation, and refined interactions that highlight each jewelry piece as a work of art.

Project Title: Stay Safe – COVID-19 Awareness Video

During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, I collaborated with a fellow student to create an animated motion graphics video aimed at spreading awareness on how to stay safe. for a freelance gig. The video communicated essential health guidelines—such as mask-wearing, hand hygiene, and social distancing—through simple, engaging visuals and clear messaging.
This project helped us understand the power of design in public health communication during a global crisis.
